Minato Aqua is a female Japanese Virtual YouTuber associated with hololive, debuting as part of its second generation of VTubers alongside Murasaki Shion, Nakiri Ayame, Yuzuki Choco and Oozora Subaru. She is a virtual maid who wears a marine-themed maid uniform and a white mob cap decorated with an anchor. She has purple hair, with twin spiral ponytails decorated with navy-blue ribbons. She also has a few streaks of light-blue hair in her bangs and the inner edge of her ponytails and a light blue ahoge. Minato Aqua is a young girl with long, light purple hair and amethyst eyes. Her main outfit consists of a fairly standard white and navy blue maid-style uniform that is decorated with matching bows. Her hair is accented with light blue highlights and is usually worn in spiraling twin tails that are tied up with navy ribbons. Both the headpiece and dress of her outfit also have an anchor on it. Minato Aqua introduced herself as a kindhearted maid that loves playing video games, she quickly became known for being clumsy and airheaded. Aqua actually despises housework, contrary to her established character. Her clumsy nature and bad luck also often lead her to throw tantrums, which give her a reputation for being childish at times. Aqua often displays intense determination and technique when it comes to games. Aqua mentions that believes she doesn’t have much else to offer, so she always tries her best to make her streams more enjoyable. Some fans have noticed that her purple hair resembled a red onion and jokingly call her such. sometimes used in tandem with “Baqua”, another name given by her fans that stems from her goofy, airheaded nature. Aqua is a clumsy maid girl who somehow manages to become the victim of every joke or possible wrong situation in which she gets involved. She is also childish and prone to throwing tantrums, smashing her keyboard and similar behavior, hyperventilating when things don't go as planned. She enjoys playing pranks and causing mischief, but it almost always backfires because of a combination of poor planning and bad luck and when confronted Aqua is a mess of embarassment and blushes quite often. Aqua makes no attempt to avoid embarrassing situations. She has asked other Hololive members, including Uruha Rushia, to bully her on several occasions. Although her initial image may paint her as childish and a crybaby, Aqua is extremely resilient and will stop at nothing to reach her goal. She often does very long endurance streams to complete the challenges she places on herself. Aqua has been noted as being particularly slight, short, and petite in terms of stature. Aqua height is 4 feet and 10 inches (148 cm).
